Sorginaritzaga, Witched Oak Grove

 A forest of beech, oak and larch, which according to tradition, was frequented by witches. Some of the best known covens of the 16th century were celebrated here, which motivated a harsh and notorious repression, which ended with nine burned people at the stake since they were accused of practicing witchcraft and black magic.

  1. From my point of view it was something very hard for those people who were dedicated to that cult.It's sad, just imagining that they burned these people just for practicing magic.

  3. I have seen some movies that talk about how people were burned for practicing witchcraft, but I think the punishment went beyond certain limits.

  6. Wow, I did not know this information, and I still think that poor people who in this century were affected and burned by practicing this magic, as they say, human beings are afraid of everything they do not know, and well I think this is one of the clear examples

How do you scare away these witches?

They hate metal, so a box of needles, a knife, pins, a piece of shiny metal or open scissors under the bed, mat or children's crib. Also...
