They hate metal, so a box of needles, a knife, pins, a piece of shiny metal or open scissors under the bed, mat or children's crib. Also a mirror near the door and a bucket of water is a repellent against their presence. But the most effective, according to the Tlaxcalans, is to wrap garlic cloves in a tortilla, which is placed on the baby's chest, or to spread pieces of onion around his crib.

The ritual of the Tlaltepuchis
The ritual of these Mexican witches for their transformation has certain characteristics such as preparing a fire in their home with capulín wood, to which agave roots, copal and dry zoapatle leaves are added, which is a medicinal plant used since pre-Hispanic times. for women since it promotes intercourse and induces abortion.

Sorginaritzaga, Witched Oak Grove
A forest of beech, oak and larch, which according to tradition, was frequented by witches. Some of the best known covens of the 16th century were celebrated here, which motivated a harsh and notorious repression, which ended with nine burned people at the stake since they were accused of practicing witchcraft and black magic.

witches and children
It was said that witches made cannibalistic meals with children, or used children's corpses to prepare their magic powders and ointments. And according to what was believed at that time, witches had the ability to transmit the art of magic from generation to generation.
In Russia, Poland, and the Czech Republic, according to legend, night witches, called notchnitsa, used to slip into the rooms of nursing infants at night to pinch, bite, and even suck their blood, but if an adult intervened in that situation , the named ones disappeared as if by magic.
Dinamos Witches
The Dinamos witches from the south of Mexico City, is the ideal place to connect with nature without leaving the urbanization. The Dinamos hills have been the perfect scenery for legends which involve black magic, witches, obviously, and occultism. In fact, mystery is more present in those nights with full moon. The population assured that if you go through there alone and you look up the sky, you will see some bright and luminous fireballs which fall from behind the mountains.
If you wonder what are those, the answer may be not the expected. According to the oldest inhabitants of Dinamos and surrounding areas, those are about witches that have come out to initiate their rites, to look for newborns to steal them and, in that way, never getting old. There is no shortage of those who only seek revenge on the humans who managed to scam them to escape from their evil. There are no few who claim to see beautiful women turn into turkeys near this area.

The Witch of Aculco
The Witch of Aculco😱
In the State of Mexico, in the municipality of Aculco, the cold seeps into the bones. The mornings are covered with a layer of fog. Between waterfalls, rocks, rivers and cobbled streets where white quarry houses were built, chilling events take place. One of them proclaims that there are spirits that do not want to leave Aculco and souls locked in the trees. The most chilling story is that of a woman with dark skin and black hair who, despite her beauty, no one approached her, because there was something strange about her. People said that she was an unreliable person and a practitioner of black magic. Time passed and no one approached the woman, she wanted to be a mother, the years passed and hope was gone.
So she decided to summon evil entities to grant her the wish of being a mother. However, the only thing that grew in her was her hatred. One day, desperate, she made a deal with the devil and, shortly after, they began to disappear in the town of Aculco. The people confronted the woman, but all they saw was a huge tree in the middle of her house. To the surprise, the tree was the witch herself, along with the soul of the missing children.
The inhabitants of the town began to machete the tree, but a macabre voice confessed what had happened. Since then, the tree remains intact. There is no shortage of those who say that if you cut a piece of the trunk, a white sap will come out and after a few minutes it will turn red like blood. It is said that children can still be heard screaming.
The government of the municipality of Aculco carries out a tour of legends through this Magical Town, so if you go to the site, we recommend you ask for information at the town hall to obtain more information.

This si the story of the witches
This story is from a town in Chihuahua.
“The witches of Naica”
In the north of the country, in a small town in the State of Chihuahua named Naica, at 10:30 p.m. sharp, all the residents must already be inside their houses, with doors and windows closed, because the famous witches come out of the mines in the form of fireballs to look for girls and young people with the intention of turning them into one of them. The most well-known story is that of Monserrat, a young woman barely 16 years old who, in an effort to help her parents, worked with the town baker; One night "Monse" as she was known, after work she decided to go to the lake to admire how beautiful the reflection of the moon looked.
Time passed and the church bells began to ring, as they served to alert the population so that everyone was already inside their homes. That cold night Monse could not escape from the famous witches of Naica, because they came to her to bite her until she lost consciousness... the sweet young woman had already become one of them.
As much as all the residents searched for the girl, they could not find her, it was until a long time later that some people claimed to have seen her in the lake, however her beauty had disappeared and now she was an ugly, deformed and macabre woman.

The witches of Huichapan in Hidalgo, Mexico
Huichapan is a magical town in the state of Hidalgo, but it is also the place where, it is said, several women dedicated to covens and rituals inhabited. In the day you can find many women walking the streets. They look normal, like any human. However, when the stars come out on the hill of Coatépetl something sinister happens.
They say that black magic is still practiced on that hill at night, especially in the light of the moon. The eyes are gouged out, the legs and arms are cut off as an offering. Many take the shape of a turkey at night, but with the first ray of the sun, they shed their skin and become women again.
Many do not even think of pronouncing the word "witch" on Fridays and, strangely, there are those who protect the entrances to their houses with grain salt or open scissors so that witches do not steal children.
